Photos on canvas extend over the sides of the canvas frame. This means that any details close to the edges of the photograph will not be seen from the front.

The above sample photo is suitable for a 20"x24" canvas as no important details are lost around the edges. However, in the example below, some of the children's faces will be partially wrapped:

To keep all the children's faces on the front of the canvas, a white border may be added so that the photo does not extend around the sides of the canvas. Instead the edges will be white:

The border's colour may be customised to suit your photograph. However, for adding a border there will be an extra charge of £15 as it can add greatly to the time it takes to stretch the canvas.
